How did you find NMR?

On a Glassdoor listing while I was on lunch.

What is your job title at NMR? Describe what you do. 

Software Developer, however I would say I’m a SQL Developer strictly dealing with building pipelines for data. I also built database architecture for 3 different databases used by The Customer.

How long have you been with NMR? 

Going on 3 yrs 10 months.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Working with the best group of folks and having a super supportive team at NMR to meet the team’s needs.

What made you choose to work at NMR?

I was interested in the data program shown on the website and wanted to be a part of that.

What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job? 

Making my client’s lives easier and giving them their time back so that they can become more efficient in their work by automating data processes so they have data at their fingertips in order to make more efficient/effective decisions.

What are some job challenges that you face? 

At this time, I’m not really noticing many challenges in work itself as I am able to communicate any issues I have effectively with my team and get around them quickly.

What makes NMR different from your past workplaces? 

The people. I’ve worked at a few different companies in the past and most of them don’t make you feel like you’re a part of team. Managers didn’t have my back or they didn’t manage the teams effectively. I don’t have this with NMR and I feel like I rely on my team that I’ll get through any situations.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I take English riding lessons to help improve my knowledge of riding. I also work my own horses which is a huge enjoyment. I have some days where I’ll make a full day of playing the SIMS games, other times I’m helping my husband with his car projects. Then on top of that, I like spending time with my parents and friends catching up with them.

Where is somewhere that you’ve never been but would love to go to?

I would love to go to the Biltmore Estates during Christmas time to enjoy the numerous decorations.

Is there a hobby that you would like to try? 

I’m already pursuing a new hobby helping to detail my husband’s cars as he gets done working on them.

None because I have numerous songs that play at any point in time
