What is your job title at NMR? Describe what you do.

I am a Project Manager supporting the SBIR/STTR Program Office. We support Small Businesses as they work to provide innovative concepts to the warfighter.     

How long have you been with NMR? 

I have been at NMR for 7 wonderful years.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I love when we finally complete a project. It is so rewarding to take a task and watch it mature in order to provide results for our customer.   

What made you choose to work at NMR?

I had a background that matched the job description and I was nervous to apply but I am so grateful that I did. It was one of the greatest decisions that I have ever made.   

What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job? 

I love what I do and I am super passionate about what I am able to provide to those we support. It is so rewarding to see a small business succeed!   

What are some job challenges that you face? 

We do experience challenges and obstacles, as with any job, but part of the reward of doing this job is being able to overcome those challenges. I love a challenge and it is part of the reward as a Project Manager to find ways to overcome. NMR provides me with the resources that I need to conquer anything I may face in my role.   

What makes NMR different from your past workplaces? 

I love the freedom that I have to be creative and do my job each day. NMR allows you to do your job and support your customer but you we have a phenomenal leadership and a stellar team that all work together to meet our customers objectives. We always find a way to say yes and I love that NMR provides me with the support to do that. 

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?

I love spending time with my family. I am married to my best friend and we have 2 sweet boys who keep us very busy! 

Where is somewhere that you’ve never been but would love to go to?

I have always wanted to go to England. 

Is there a hobby that you would like to try? 

My husband enjoys golf and I am often encouraged to make that a new hobby!

Steel Magnolias is my favorite movie, Fried Green Tomatoes and Return of the Jedi. I love movies so that is a very hard question.
