What is your job title at NMR? Describe what you do. 

Innovations Officer/Data Management Liaison. I promote a culture of innovation, focusing on strong solutions for our federal customers. I encourage our team to share their ideas and be an active part in designing the path forward to making it a reality. I also lead a team working with our federal data customers to build a culture of data quality and find ways to use data more effectively and efficiently. This enables our customers to save time and make better decisions based on timely, more accurate data.

The opportunity to dive into something new, along with a competitive salary.

What are some of the most rewarding aspects of your job? 

Seeing customers reap the benefits of a solution our team developed or provided is incredibly rewarding. It is amazing to work side-by-side with amazing professionals and ensure they have what they need to be successful every day.

What are some job challenges that you face? 

A big part of my job is culture change. When you are in that business, you will face adversity. Not everyone likes change. Not everyone can see the big picture. Not everyone believes we can do hard things and accomplish big goals. You have to find ways to bring those people along or go around them, and that can be tough.

What makes NMR different from your past workplaces? 

NMR is the first small business I’ve worked for. I’ve watched NMR double in size over the past few years and it has been like cheering for your favorite sports team. Team NMR has a culture of positivity and support, and that hasn’t changed despite the growth. The growth itself is a testament to our awesome team members and the support leadership provides every day.

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work? 

I like to travel with my family

Where is somewhere that you’ve never been but would love to go to?

I’d love to visit Scotland

Is there a hobby that you would like to try?  

Pickle ball!
